CONTINUING CARE

Recovery is a continuous process. Patients need ongoing support after completing outpatient treatment and staying connected with others in recovery is essential as your journey unfolds. Our continuing care support groups are not the same as 12-step meeting or group therapy. They are support groups facilitated by a professional, that provide a place to share about the challenges of recovery and discuss life issues we all encounter. Feedback and support is encouraged from peers rather than direct advice.

These vital “connection” groups are offered in-person and virtual via zoom. Isolation is often a risk after leaving the structure of an outpatient program. Therefore, it is strongly recommended you take advantage of this free resource in order to grow your recovery network and thrive in your recovery.

The current schedule of continuing care groups are as follows:

  • Mondays at 5:30pm virtually via zoom
  • Tuesdays at 12:30pm virtually via zoom
  • Thursdays at 6:30 in person in the Sam Anders Alumni Hall located in the Pro North building on Ridgeview’s Campus

*Groups that fall on the Thursday before the first Friday of each month are held virtually.

Zoom links for virtual groups are sent out the morning of each group. To be added to the email list please contact the Continuing Care/Alumni Coordinator Rylan Shaughnessy here or 470-606-2071.
