For someone with an addiction, withdrawal can be difficult and even dangerous to attempt without professional support. A person admitted for detoxification may need inpatient care with round-the-clock medical supervision, for safety and comfort.

The treatment process for our inpatient detox program is rooted in a foundation of 12 Step, abstinence based recovery. Treatment begins with detox followed by additional recommendations for treatment to help the patient fully recover from chemical dependency. This can include therapies that are available on an inpatient, partial, or intensive outpatient basis.

Based upon clinical recommendations, patients in the partial hospitalization program may return home each night or may live in the Recovery Residence on the Ridgeview Smyrna campus. Those participating in the intensive outpatient program are often able to continue their participation in work or school while in treatment.

Our dual diagnosis program is designed for patients who have a psychiatric disorder co-occurring with an addiction. Ridgeview provides treatment and tools for the patient to work toward recovery from addiction, as well as to manage any psychiatric illnesses.
