Ridgeview Institute – Smyrna was pleased to participate in the Heroin Summit @ the YMCA in Kennesaw over the weekend. The Northwest Family YMCA partnered with Georgia Prevention Project (GPP) to help bring more awareness around the growing epidemic of prescription drug and heroin abuse in the community. Community leaders, families and experts gathered to discuss the issue, how it is affecting teens and families, barriers to addressing the issue and prevention efforts.
